Ursula Johnson’s second solo exhibition with TBB, Emmitukwemk : The Visit opened October 7, 2023 as we reflected on and honoured NDTR and Treaty Day.

The one-time-only, immersive, multi-disciplinary installation remained on view until December 16, 2023. The work was made for this moment, for this place and is not intended be shown again.

In the gallery, Johnson created a dreamscape which invited the viewer to grieve and to witness beauty, to reckon with a past, both shared and personal, and to imagine a space for a true and honest reconciliation.
